1) Cheshire Life 90th anniversary exhibition
This week the Cheshire Life 90th Anniversary Exhibition opens at Nantwich Museum. Cheshire Life is the longest-running and most commercially successful regional magazine in the UK. Launched in May 1934, it's celebrating its 90th anniversary with a series of exhibitions around the county. This exhibition consists of high-resolution images (with commentary) from historical copies of Cheshire Life that showcase some of the ways the county has been depicted in words and pictures since the birth of the magazine. The museum is open from 10.00am - 4.00pm (Tuesday - Saturday). Entry is free. Find out more ->
2) Ladies Afternoon Tea & Fashion Show at Palm Court with Abi Fisher
On Thursday, head to the stunning Palm Court restaurant at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel as they welcome back Abi Fisher to showcase her Autumn/Winter collection during their ever-popular Afternoon Tea & Fashion Show event. Find out more ->
3) Oktoberfest at Walton Hall Gardens
Come to Walton Hall Gardens this week as they transform The Old Riding School into their very own brauhaus for a Bavarian party! The event will include traditional steins, cuisine, and an oompah band as well as other entertainment! Find out more ->
4) Sugar and Spice Festival at Port Sunlight
This week, wrap up warm and discover a host of locally-made food, drink and little luxuries in the autumn edition of this new festival for Port Sunlight and Wirral. Soak up the beautiful autumn colours of the village and browse stalls filled with chocolate, cakes, ice cream, coffee, beer and a range of hot & savoury treats from around the world. Find out more ->
5) Business Class 'in flight' experience
Get onboard a Boeing 747 Upper Deck for a 2h 45m simulated flight to Bangkok. Including a three-course Thai-themed meal with a glass of wine included for each course, the flight will ‘depart’ at 19.00 and ‘arrive’ in Bangkok at 21.45.
