Spooky season is nearly upon us and its almost time for you to pick your pumpkins. Cheshire is full of great places to go to get your pumpkin, here is a roundup of some of the best! 

Tatton Park, Knutsford


Tatton Park's Pumpkin Patch will open 19th - 31st October. Dont forget to head over to the farm first to meet all your farmyard favourites, then stop by the pumpkin patch to pick the perfect pumpkin. £4 per pumpkin + standard farm and parkland entry, book online for a 10% discount

Magical Malpas
 

This October will see Magical Malpas opening up the family farm for their 15th year of pumpkin picking! Which one will you choose? They are the original UK pumpkin patch and still the best! No booking required. Dates:Wednesday 2nd, Friday 4th, Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th. Wednesday 9th, Friday 11th, Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th. Wednesday 16th, Friday 18th, Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th. Wednesday 23rd, Friday 25th, Saturday 26th, Sunday 27th, Monday 28th, Tuesday 29th, Wednesday 30th & Thursday 31st October 2024. ​OPEN 10am-4pm on the above dates.

Libbys Patch, Macclesfield
 

Looking for a family day out in Cheshire? well look no further. Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, Pumpkin Picking at Libby's Patch is a great fun day out for all the family. Built on the success of last year where Dan and Bethan Thornicroft welcomed over 3000 families to explore and pick their own Pumpkin's. The price of entry is £10 per car for a 2 hour picking session.

Kenyon Hall Farm, Warrington


Open every day in October, advanced bookings are essential. Pick your pumpkin from the home-grown patch and create memories with magical pumpkin-tastic photo opportunities! Make sure you pop into the Farm shop and cafe onsite before you go.

Benty Farm Tea Rooms, Wirral


Pick your own Pumpkins and from June you can pick your own Strawberries and Raspberries too. Enjoy Afternoon Tea in the tea rooms whilst you are there or warm up with a hot drink.

Cheshire Potatoes, Bunbury


Open in October you can pick your own pumpkins and Cheshire potatoes, perfect for making some hearty autumnal dishes. No entry fee, no booking required.

Pye Ash Farm, Macclesfield


Come and pick your pumpkin at the Pumpkin Maze which runs throughout October! There will be lots of different varieties to choose from which are all grown at Pye Ash. There will also be animals to see, sheepdog demonstrations, face painting, refreshments and much more!

Lambing Shed, Knutsford


The Lambing Shed grows their own pumpkins with many different varieties to choose from, including GREEN, WHITE, PINK and of course ORANGE! Plenty of entertainment, food, drinks & lots of new attractions for 2024.

This family-friendly event is suitable for all ages, specifically designed to make sure you have the perfect pumpkin picking experience. Fancy dress is welcomed! Prizes of best dressed! Don't forget to visit the farm shop and cafe on site for breakfast, lunch or even afternoon tea.
