The much-loved tale of Aladdin is coming to Gulliver’s World for panto season this Christmas. Aladdin and his magic carpet will be appearing at the Warrington theme park on selected dates from December 28 until January 5.

The Mayor of Warrington, Cllr Wendy Johnson, has officially opened the spectacular Land of Lights festival which has returned to the town for the second year running.

Discover Knutsford this festive season for shopping, entertainment, and celebration! The weekend of 30th November and 1st December welcomes the Christmas cheer with Knutsford’s Christmas Markets, two days of the finest artisan market stalls.

Knutsford Pumpkin Path 2024 filled King Street with hundreds of families exploring, completing the trail and trick or treating the local businesses. As always, the support from the Knutsford business community was huge! With fabulous fancy dress and sweets being handed out, the town was filled with good spirits and hijinks.

Twixmas; that time of year between the big day and New Year. It’s usually a little sleepy, but we recommend that you get out and about and enjoy everything Cheshire has on offer.

There is masses to see and do this Christmas in Cheshire with inspiring events and more than a sprinkle of magic to enjoy across the county. From light extravaganzas and opportunities to meet Santa and his elves, ride the North Pole Express and rub noses with snow-whiskered animals; children of all ages are sure to be entertained.  There are plenty of festive markets to choose from to pick out some special gifts.

There’s no shortage of things to do and see this Christmas, with light displays, performances and several opportunities to give Santa your Christmas list.  

Mars, Luke Jerram’s mesmerising planetary art installation, moves into a new orbit at Norton Priory Museum and Gardens in Runcorn, Cheshire, after Christmas for a six week visit from Tuesday 28 January to Sunday 9 March 2025.

It’s the run up to 5 November and no doubt people are planning to celebrate the occasion with family and friends.
