Christmas in Warrington 


Warrington's Weekend Wonderland

Warrington Winter Wonderland brings a festival of Christmas fun over the weekend of 23rd & 24th November 2024. What better way to start the festive season than with a whole weekend of Christmas activity and events taking place across Warrington Town Centre. 

Plus on 30th November take the children to see Santa at the Town Hall for just £3.50 per child. Meet Santa in his kitchen for a magical Christmas experience. Enjoy Christmas crafts, live music from festive choirs and a brass band, stop off for a tasty treat at the cafe, or enjoy a mulled wine in the courtyard.

Christmas @ The Works 


Come along to the Lion Salt Works on 8th December, 11am – 4pm and join the Christmas festivities for all the family – meet Santa in his grotto (booking necessary), take part in science experiments with Northwich Explorers - Winter Wonders (£5 per child, limited tickets, booking necessary), post your letters to Santa and get creative with free Christmas crafts, join in with Christmas carols and much more!

There's A LOT going on this Christmas in Northwich. The town is coming together to bring a truly spectacular Christmas for residents and visitors alike. There's a whole host of completely FREE events and activities for the whole family to enjoy as part of theChristmas Extravaganza including crazy golf, Christmas market, Christmas crafting, funfair, Christmas games, live music, a spectacular lanterns parade and light switch on plus firework finale!

Step into Christmas, Macclesfield


Join us in welcoming Christmas to Macclesfield on Saturday 30th November, 11-5pm. You can expect Santa’s grotto (booking essential), FREE crafts for kids, live music from local bands, a variety of entertainment, hot food and mulled wine, plus a craft fair from Made in Macclesfield – it’s all going on.  Plus buses in and around Macclesfield will be FREE to ride all day.

A sure-fire way to get into the Christmas spirit, a visit to the Christmas markets doesn’t have to break the bank. You can wander the festooned streets, peruse the stalls, and simply soak up the atmosphere. 

Knutsford’s Christmas Marketon 30th November & 1st December is a two-day festive street market featuring over 140 traders per day selling the finest foods, drinks, crafts and gifts in the area – the perfect place to start your Christmas shopping!

Festive Films at Jodrell Bank
 

Winter Film Season at Jodrell Bank

This year Jodrell brings you winter cinema in the Space Dome. There’s an impressive 15 screenings lined up, with all-festive classics including Elf, Home Alone, Love Actually and It’s a Wonderful Life, as well as a few more recent numbers! Plus Die Hard, it is a Christmas film after all, or is it?! Tickets start from just £7 (much cheaper than the cinema!) 

Elf Hunts


The Elves will be on the loose again at Tegg's Nose Country Park and Brereton Heath LNR throughout December. Can you find them all and collect their names? An inexpensive and sneaky way to get the kids of their consoles and out into the fresh, Cheshire air! Plus parents can pop into The Nose Coffee Shop at Tegg's Nose for a quick brew!

Make special memories and get into the Christmas spirit with a furry, pot bellied, pear shaped, snub nosed, green humanoid creature with a FREE meet and greet in the courtyard from 11am - 3pm

Meet Santa at Congleton Museum


Get into the festive spirit with a magical day at Congleton Museum! For just £6, your child will have the opportunity to:

Explore the Christmas Trail: Embark on a fun and interactive Christmas trail throughout the museum. Discover festive surprises around every corner while learning about the history and traditions of Christmas.
