There’s so much activity throughout Cheshire this festive season and we have put together a list of our top picks of what to see and do this week to get you in the Christmas mood.
Elf Hunts
Stay active this winter and head outdoors to Tegg’s Nose Country Park or Brereton Heath to find elves on loose! Pick up a map from the visitor centre and begin your hunt for elves.
Santa’s Enchanted Grotto Invites you to Alice in Winterland
Join Alice in Winterland on the search for Santa. Brought to you by Chester BID this magical family experience in the Grosvenor shopping centre is perfect to excite and delight the little ones, as they have the chance to say hello to some of their favourite Alice in Wonderland characters, and to give their wish lists to Santa himself.
Arley At Christmas
See Arley Hall bursting with fresh flowers and foliage arranged by local florists and horticultural colleges. Be inspired by the different floral arrangements while you’re serenaded by the Rock Choir and enjoy looking around all the Christmas trees decorated by local primary schools on display in The Cruck Barn.
A Festive Tale with Emma the Elf
Join award-winning fairy tale writer Emma the Elf in Chester Cathedral as she tells the enchanting tale of “Awesome Anselm”. After hearing the exciting tale all children can take home their own copy of “Awesome Anselm and St Werburgh’s Geese” and join in a short tour of the Cathedral visiting some of the characters from the story.
Christmas Party Nights
In the mood to celebrate with friends, family, or colleagues? Enjoy good food, drinks, and entertainment across Cheshire, with parties happening at The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa, Mercure Chester, and The Chester Grosvenor.
