An experienced artist who started his creative journey in Warrington 50 years ago will be returning to his roots with a new exhibition.

The Forge, within Hotel Indigo Chester, has retained its 2 AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence. The award-winning restaurant was awarded the 2 AA Rosettes for the first time in 2023.

A trail of giant animals, made with pumpkins, and the UK’s first fully animated 360-degree mythical experience will be among the highlights at a huge new Halloween festival at Chester Zoo this October.

An exhibition and programme of activities celebrating the life of Trena Cox, a twentieth-century woman stained glass artist from Chester opened at Chester Cathedral on Monday 7 October, running until Friday 8 November.

 

Everyone’s favourite bear has taken a seat in Chester as part of Paddington Visits, a far-reaching trail spanning the UK and Ireland. Today, fans of all ages took a pew next to Paddington as STUDIOCANAL unveiled a statue of the marmalade loving bear in Chester.
