ALIEN TRAIL 21st Oct – 3rd Nov Explore Jodrell Bank's beautiful green spaces on an intergalactic outdoor trail and keep an eye out for little green men hiding in the trees! Find them all as you journey across the galaxy to reveal a secret code, learning lots of fascinating facts along the way.
CURIOUS KIDS: MARTIAN MAYHEM 26th Oct – 3rd Nov, 12noon + 2.30pm Prepare for even more hair-raising experiments and fantastic science facts with a brand-new Curious Kids show! The Jodrell Bank Explainer team are back for another trip through the stars, this time focussing on the search for life on other worlds – or are they already hiding among us?
ASTRO PI: MISSION ZERO 26th Oct – 3rd Nov, all day drop-in Try your hand at coding with Astro Pi for the chance to have your work sent to the International Space Station! Learn with Astro Pi's expert team, use accessible and fun coding tools, and even set the background colour in a personalised image for astronauts on the ISS.
TED'S SPACE ADVENTURE 30th Oct, 11am Explore the Solar System at our special planetarium screenings of Ted's Space Adventure – it's one small step for Ted, one giant leap for little stargazers! We'll explore the Solar System and singalong with a bear named Ted, learning about the things we find there and how they affect us.
ASTRONOMY PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR 26th Oct onward, 10-5 Travel to the edge of the universe in astounding detail at the Astronomy Photographer of the Year exhibition, coming to Jodrell Bank this October and free with admission. This breathtaking exhibition makes a perfect complement to a Jodrell Bank visit and brings the farthest corners of the universe to your doorstep.
