Chester's history is not often neat and tidy. You are in a city where Roman, Medieval, Tudor, Stuart, Georgian & Victorian influences jostle for position along streets nearly 2000 years old. Many times these influences happily rub shoulders in the same building.

The Welcome to Chester Walking Tour takes place on Mondays at 11 am and selected other times. The Tour departs from the Visitor Information Centre (VIC) at Chester Town Hall. To book your place, pop into the VIC or call us 01244 405340.
