Wilmslow is another location in the Golden Triangle which is home to the independent Rex Cinema and hosts a regular artisan market.
Wilmslow has a central park just over a mile from the station, the Carrs, which connects to Styal and is home to free weekly Parkrun and Junior Parkrun events.
The Carrs also has several off road walking routes with an accessible 3km route which follows the River Bollin.
