Free improvisation's roots are in music, specifically improvised jazz from the 1950s. It has now extended beyond music to multiple disciplines.

Participants are encouraged to focus on sound and also movement; listening, watching and responding to build a collaborative piece – a sound and movement scape – composed and performed by and with the members of the group.

Joanna Gaggero says "This series of workshops will allow people to come together to make creative pieces inspired by the moment, the group and the time and the place."

Everyone is welcome! No skills or experience required.

There are a limited number of pay as you feel tickets available each week.

Musical instruments and props can be brought but are not required.
