Cheshire is the perfect place to come with the family for a fun day out or even a longer stay. There is so much happening all year around for everyone to enjoy, from ages 0 to 100, you can even bring the pooch.
We've lots of fun-packed festivals that take place in Chester and Cheshire throughout the year. Starting with the annual Scarecrow Festival at Tatton Park, where you can hunt for dozens of Scarecrows in the 50 acre gardens and throughout the farm.
We are happy to see some of our old favourites returning this year, Middlewich FAB Festival offers an eclectic mix of musical performances and boating activities, the Royal Cheshire County Show with its Quad Bike Stunt Show, delicious food and drink stalls, fairground rides and more is a must visit, and Nantwich Show is back at Reaseheath College.
Come to Deva Fest, a great value family-friendly three day extravaganza of music, parades, shows and fabulous food and drink, and we even have a festival especially for your dog! Dogfest takes place at Tatton Park in June, with have-a-go activities from dog diving to agility, why not enter the fund dog show or help to raise funds for Dogs Trust as you admire the surroundings on the Big Dog Walk.
As well as lots of festivals, many of our Cheshire attractions host hands on workshops, trails, exhibitions, quests, shows and more throughout the year. Take a look at our round up of family friendly events in Chester and Cheshire below:
