Mottram Hall’s championship golf course is set in 270 acres of Cheshire's finest parkland and is located one mile from the picturesque village of Prestbury. The 7,006 yard 18-hole, Par 72 Championship golf course comprising of magnificent parkland fairways dotted with oak and beech trees and tricky, well-guarded greens is broken up into two contrasting circuits of nine. The front nine, with its impressive back-drop of the 18 Century Hall, gently rolls over meadowland and offers the golfer many chances to make a score. The back nine winds through some lush woodland and is a much more demanding test of golf. This championship course was designed by renowned course architect, Dave Thomas, who previously designed the Brabazon course at The Belfry. With its manicured fairways, strategically placed bunkers and guarded greens, Mottram Hall offers an exciting challenge to golfers of all abilities. The course is open all year round and welcomes golfers of all abilities, whether you're looking for membership, society days, corporate days and more, Mottram Hall will guarantee to fulfil your need.
The Claret Jug Golf Clubhouse is the perfect place to relax and dine in style. The Halfway house is conveniently located on the ground floor, just yards away from the ninth green and first tee and is a popular destination for all golfers, whether it's a light snack, a beer or something a little more substantial. The Golf Shop wouldn't be out of place on Bond Street, stocking top designer brands such as J.Lindeberg, Hugo Boss Lyle & Scott, Nike, Adidas and many more.
