The Forest Distillery
Our story began in 2014 when Lindsay & Karl Bond began home distilling tiny batches of spirits from the kitchen table in our home next to Macclesfield Forest. These initial distillations were purely for our own enjoyment, so we threw in handfuls of berries, mosses and ferns which our 6 year old daughter Harriet had foraged from the forest and surrounding hills. Slowly but surely, word spread about our gin, and we decided to decant the liquid into porcelain bottles to see if anybody would be interested in tasting it… We are very proud to say that things have rapidly moved on. The Forest Distillery is now housed within a beautiful stone barn in the Peak District National Park. Our gin is recognised as one of the worlds finest spirits having won an unprecedented two separate double-gold medals at the San Francisco Spirit Awards. Our products are sold in the finest bars, restaurants, hotels and lounges around the world. We are still a tiny, independent distillery, and between 5 of us here, we continue to produce our products in the same ways that we did at home, using pestle & mortars and tiny 25 liter stills. We forage for our ingredients regularly in the Forest and we always do our very best to ensure that these fresh, natural flavours come through to your glass.

GNP Co started from a home kitchen just a few years ago, researching and developing pies then selling at local farmers markets. We had good feedback early on for the pies and were awarded “North West Fine Food Producer of the Year” in a competition judged by Nigel Haworth. This was a turning point for the business and we moved from our home into our new bakery. We have gone on to win 9 categories at the British Pie Awards, as well as winning the overall competition and being the named the best small producer. Over the last few years we have been asked to judge at the awards, and most recently, listed as a finalist in the BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards.

I design and create handcrafted artisan chocolates in the heart of Cheshire. I work in small batches and create all chocolates by hand to make sure that every bite is both pretty to look at and delicious to taste. With Callebaut Belgian chocolate couverture and traditional tempering techniques, all products are completely handmade with love. I don't use any machines and hand paint every single chocolate so each piece is truly one of a kind. The idea was born from a deep love of chocolate and a need to express myself creatively through a medium close to my heart. The result quite naturally became chocolate art. I hand paint each mould, so each piece of chocolate has a unique look.
