Sandbach Christmas Lights Switch On

Mark your calendars for the much-anticipated community Christmas Lights Switch-On, set to illuminate the Cobbles Market Square on Saturday, the 30th of November.

From 2 PM to 6 PM, join in the festive fun with Silk 106.9 hosting local music on the main stage, while local singers, bands, a children’s dance group, and performing arts will showcase their talents. Additionally, we have a Naughty and Good Elf mascot, a Balloon Artist, Stilt Walkers, a Children’s fairground ride, and a Fire Breather making it a day to remember. There will also be appearances from Santa Claus throughout the day, and live link broadcasts back to the Silk 106.9 studio throughout the event! At 4:30 PM, we have Foden’s Band performing traditional carols for us all to sing along to.

THEN THE BIG COUNTDOWN TO THE SWITCH-ON JUST BEFORE 5 PM, lighting up Sandbach Town in twinkly festive cheer.
