Experience the magic of springtime at Reaseheath’s Lambing Weekend.
Witness adorable newborn lambs, explore Reaseheath Mini Zoo, and indulge in the best local produce at our Artisan Market. Visit for a memorable family weekend full of fun and excitement.
This year the event has changed and there will not be a live lambing aspect but there will be lots of newborn lambs on the Reaseheath Farm to see. There will also be plenty of family activities to enjoy whilst you learn about life on a farm. Included in your ticket price is also admission to Reaseheath Mini Zoo where there is a variety of 200 species of animals and keeper talks taking place throughout the day.
Why have we changed the event this year?
This is due to a national virus within the flock which can lead to complications during lambing. It is felt that this year it will be better, on welfare grounds, to allow the ewes to lamb away from public view in quiet areas where they can be continually monitored by vets and the college’s experienced farm staff. You can read more about this here.
