Light Untold exhibition at the LAKE gallery

Light is emphasized in all its subtlety and drama in this exciting exhibition featuring work from four artists. All tackle this central subject in very different ways: via photography and collage, oil paint and watercolour, and with varying degrees of realism, expression and abstraction. Featured are Janine Pinion's ethereal watercolours from her native country of Northern Ireland, Luke Tarpey's collaged photographs of fantastical places, Derek Corlett's expressive paintings of the night city, and Anne Byrne's painterly renditions of dramatic light on the landscape. Anne is a semi-finalist from SKY ARTS Landscape Artist of the Year.

The gallery will be hosting a preview evening on Thursday 12th September between 6pm and 8pm, and all are welcome. Janine, Derek and Anne will all be joining us in the gallery for the evening so do come along to meet them.
You'll find the LAKE gallery in the heart of West Kirby, a couple of minutes from the train station.
