Goosfest 24 'Finding Your Voice' Singing Workshop

By popular demand following last year's enjoyable and successful singing workshop, opera singer Marie Claire Breen and composer and vocalist Leighton Jones, will be returning to Goosfest to provide another memorable workshop of singing and musical exploration.

Using simple vocal techniques, breathwork, and songs discover how your unique voice works. Gain knowledge into the workings of the singing voice, understand the health benefits of singing and build confidence in your musical prowess!

This workshop is designed for those of you who are complete novices to those who are well established singers. Over 13s only please. No music reading ability is necessary.

This is a unique opportunity to be taught by a professional opera singer and international vocal coach. Marie Claire is a former Scottish Opera Emerging Artist and has regularly appeared as a soloist on the operatic stage throughout the UK. Notable performances include the BBC Proms and singing for HRH King Charles. Currently Marie Claire spends much of her time as a vocal animateur and singing instructor on behalf of Opera North.
