Blue Lantern Sessions: Radco Christmas Special

Expect a Jools Holland-style setting, with the best sell-out names from the acoustic scene.

Experience the Blue Lantern Sessions at Storyhouse, an intimate evening of acoustic music featuring top Roots, World, and Acoustic artists.

Inspired by an open mic where they first met (called the Blue Lantern), Welsh duo Igloo Hearts bring this vision back to life, with a unique twist, at The Garret Theatre.

Led by James and Katie MacGregor, (recently featured on the Channel 4 show ‘The Piano’) Igloo Hearts promises an immersive experience akin to a cozy living room atmosphere.

Prepare for captivating performances that evoke goosebumps and stir the emotions.

The evening begins with Igloo Hearts as hosts, followed by an ‘up and coming’ support artist, before the main headline act takes to the stage.

Back by Unpopular Demand (Just Kidding – They Absolutely Sold Out Last Year)

Radco return this December for another night of music, mischief, and mild chaos — and you won’t want to miss it.

Join BBC Radio’s Mark Radcliffe and a motley crew of friends (and perhaps a few foes) for a genial meander through 25 years of music from his previous bands: The Family Mahone, Foes, and Galleon Blast.

Since their debut gig in 1998, The Family Mahone — along with a rotating cast of mostly Chester-based musical accomplices — have cheerfully muddled through a number of bands that, truth be told, have all been reassuringly similar.

This special show offers a relaxed, age-appropriate revisit of songs from their less-than-illustrious back catalogue.

To bastardise the words of Fred Pontin (ask your parents): “Book early to ensure disappointment.”

Tickets are likely to vanish quickly — grab yours now before they do!
